The 32V PSU combo looks impressive and Sci-Fi at the same time, somehow similar with the look of Soloist and Timekeeper

The rear fine blades heatsink makes me think that there might be an active cooling inside

Fusion Core's internal operating frequency is 1 MHz, so way above any audible frequency

Looks like an important step-up over the Supercharger line was now achieved by Burson Audio with these Fusion Core power supplies based on GaN transistors. Looking forward for head-fiers to have this tested and reviewed.

Are those specs correct though? Both weight and dimensions. Not sure based on the pictures shown.

How about that 😵 https://www.bursonaudio.com/products/conductor-gt4

Voyager chassis going to the museum it seems. And no big fan anymore inside the GT enclosure plus a brand new DAC design. Progress....

My understanding is that Timekeeper is using two 32V PSUs, while the other audio equipment is only using one 24V PSU. I see no reasons why the size & weight to be innacurate.

I'm sure that this "Fusion Core" will be compatible with future Burson audio equipment, including GT4. Also, the cable ending with jack connector can feed equipment manufactirwd by other brands too; if not, then DIY is my middle name. 😀

🔷 This Fusion Core for
Voyager is very interesting.
I will order one next week.

A good powersupply is crucial for the soundquality.
Burson is truly an innovative company,.now they release...
• Conductor GT4
• Fusion Core
• Monoblocks

On my wish list,.a new DAC from Burson at the Voyager level is at the top of my wish list.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a new DAC appears in the future 😃.

Great, please do let us know your thoughts after you'll get it home. You could also update https://www.head-fi.org/threads/bur...e-pure-class-a-10watts-fully-balanced.970424/ as well.

Indeed, https://www.head-fi.org/threads/burson-conductor-grand-tourer-4.973608/ is the main thread, but Voyager's amplifier plays in a different league for sure, at least in terms of pure output power.

Thinking about ordering a 24V Fusion Core while the pre-order deal is up. Also wondering if Burson would replace the 4 V7 Vivids that are optional with the pre-order with a 01 Mothership stand. They’re both a $400 value.

My Voyager is still under warranty repair for the time being, but figured it’s a good time if I wanted free stuff in the offer.

A good quality PSU makes a huge difference, curious how much improvement this will be.

I'd say that you can contact Burson and ask them about your proposal, although not sure they will accept, but worth a try for sure.

P.S.: Worst case scenario: get the V7 Pro Vivids, sell them on eBay as brand new, then add a few more bucks on top and get a new Mothership.

Talked with Ryan @ Burson & they were able to facilitate the request after all.

I’ve always wanted one for aesthetic purposes, but prioritized gear or headphones instead.

🔷 AND,.on Tuesday,
September 24, my two
Fusion Core's will arrive.

One for my...
• Voyager De-lux head-amp.
And one for my…
• Conductor 3X Grand Tourer
with V7-Vivid.

Now has Burson started sending out the Fusion Core's, this because there was a problem with Burson's supplier of the DC-cable.
This issue is now resolved,.and last week all pre-ordered Fusion Core's started shipping out.

So on Tuesday it will be really exciting to, for the first time, get to listen to what a Fusion Core can add to the soundquality 😛.

Lucky! I pre-ordered on the last day of the promotion. Hopefully get an email at the beginning of next week. A good PSU makes a big difference, I'm excited as well to see how much more they can improve the Voyager & other Soloist models.

❤️ Finally,.Burson Fusion Core powersupply has landed here.

I'm posting a first impression here, after only having it plugged in for two hours...
It is thus completely raw and no "burn-in" yet.

I hear that the Fusion Core power-supply,.including the DC-cable is raw,and doesn't have the real musical flow yet, it feels a bit "trapped"...

This Fusion Core is now connected to my Conductor 3X Grand Tourer which is now only used as a DAC for my Voyager.
Those of you who haven't heard how the DAC unit sounds separately have missed something 🥰.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
3X GT has V7-Vivid OP-amps installed,.has also tried V7-Classic which is also very good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
BUT,.it's like I installed the biggest Krell power-amp (even though I don't like Krell).
It's an Attack,.Power and Dynamics that are significantly better than before (Super Charger 24V 5A power-supply),.the songs sound different with more details...
BUT,.still "cleaned up",separated and holds everything together in an iron grip.

The nuances around the notes ring out with a completely different content, and the nerve and energy are addictive.
Sat and thought....

SO,.this happens when the Fusion Core powersupply is connected to my DAC 😳..!!
What happens when I connect the second Fusion Core to my Voyager head-amp..??
(Yes,.I have another Fusion Core that will be connected to my Voyager tomorrow.)
Maybe the power and attack will be too much...

I mean,.Burson Voyager still counts as a very powerful head-amp.
Well,.I'm definitely not complaining, it's pleasant trouble in that case 😁.

To be continued...
Stay Tuned 🥳
