I basicly just took the guts of my CMOY amp and configured it to function as a gain stage for my Murdey amp. Unfortunatly, I had to resolder some connections on it, and I did so without thinking about the opamps.

I think I burnt them up. Right now they draw ~1.5A (which is what my PS clamps the current to), and get increadibly hot. And I don't have any spare chips. I've checked out the circuit, and without the opamps in their sockets, everything works great, as far as I can tell.

I need a replacement, and while I'm at it I figure I may as well try a new chip type. What would be a sonicly nuetral chip that would run fine off a +/- 6V PS and is happy with a gain of 8? Or should I just stick with OPA 134s? Anybody have a few (3 or so) that they would be willing to let me buy off them?
