Could someone kindly help me out?
Nero burns (at x4 speed) in about 15 minutes per CD. I assume it does the conversion of MP3 to CDA on the fly and the big problem is very audible distortion occuring during playback every now and then...
WindowsMediaPlayer9 spends about 45 minutes in total "analysing mp3s", converting them and then burning (at x4) resulting in clear playback without any such distortions. The problem is that the WMP9 program is not as configurable as Nero (I can't even get rid of the 2 sec gaps between the tracks - terrible) although the results are much better...

(my mp3s are high quality VBR256 or 320bps, not from kazaa etc)

So the question is: how to configure Nero to stop going about its buiseness in such a half arsed way

/ how to get rid of the gaps between tracks when burning in WM9.

I've been at my wits end with this for the past month or so, so any kind of help would be GREATLY appreciated!
