I know that most people play their 24bit FLACs through their computer but I prefer to use physical discs played through a transport. I've given hope for any viable 24bit disc format so I'm now looking to make my own discs using high res files sourced from sites like HDTRacks and Acoustic Sounds.

I assume the best way to do this is to burn the files to a blank DVDs using the DVD-Audio file format. Does anyone have experience with this? What is the best software program for this application?

For burning actual DVD-A, which is pretty much extinct in the wild, Linn has some information:

You can also just make a data DVD if your transport will read from them. This is how Reference Recordings puts out their 24/176 masters.
