If I used one of the lower rated burners (or an unlisted one) how can I tell if I could have gotten better rips with a higher rated burner?
Is there any information in the EAC log report (see below) that would answer this?
Peak level 63.9 %
Track quality 99.9 %
Copy CRC FBE863D5
Not accurately ripped (confidence 2) [E7930158], but should be [009FC158] ........... ????????
Copy OK
If one could compare the worst against the best from the list what kind of differences might one find? Would these differences be audible?
Or does having "No errors occurred" at the end of the log report mean that it doesn't get any better???
I have a smallish CD collection so I wouldn't mind getting the best possible burner and starting over but I would like to know that there will be measurable differences.
TIA
