I have seen comments on the board about evaluating amps only after they have a chance to "burn in".
Can someone tell me why a solid state amp or even a tube unit would have to be burned in to achieve optimum performance.
I can understand this process somewhat wtih headphones because there are moving parts and maybe with tube emission because there is the heat factor.
But with amps there are only moving electrons.
