^Agree, I have not "burned in" my tube amplifier at all. I switch it on and wait until tubes glow properly, then start listen to music. It takes around 1-2 minutes until tubes are ready. I have not noticed that my amp would have been sounded different after 10, 20 or 30 hours. Maybe that burn-in means that you adjust your ears to new amplifier
Some people claim that they hear difference. I am not denying they can't hear that, just saying I can not hear any difference. What comes to different tubes is another story, then even I can hear some differences.
There is some initial burn-in that takes place with capacitors, etc., but it's nowhere near the "hours" you hear many people claim - more like a few minutes or less.
In the case of tubes, NOS tubes can be gassy after sitting on the shelf (or worse) for a few decades. It may take some extended running (it might be hours in this case) before they settle down. From then on, a few minutes should suffice.
