hi everyone...i'm new to this forum so excuse me if i'm asking something that has been covered already! anyway, i just got a pair of sr60s (my first decent pair of headphones) and looking for info on breaking them in. first, is there a certain time frame for these particular phones that works best? second, what's the best source to use (i.e. broadcast, music, static, etc.) appreciate anybody's thoughts/quips on this!!

the sr60 really take some time to ease down a bit. I believe the only sceptics of burn-in are the ones that haven't had the sr60 for a while.

my advice: listen to them a lot

that's what they're for. for when you're not listening, you could use music for dynamics. and you could use noise (the pink one; white has all frequencies, pink a slight emphasis on red/low frequencies) that covers all frequencies, like FM noise/static. doesn't really matter tho, no voodoo involved

they can take a few weeks before they're "done", with most change in the first few days.
