i didn't know where to post this, but i recently ripped the green day live album, bullet in a bible into ALAC format for my ipod classic. anyway part way through "boulevard of broken dreams" i heard some noise that sounded like a torn cassette film rattling in it's reel. i had the cd for a long while but only just ripped the songs. anyway, i thought it was a bad rip or something, so tried it in .wav and played back on both my creative zen and ipod - same clipping. so i tried the actual cd and that clipped too (same points).
in the end i tried a friends disc and there was clipping there too, as well as the library copy (librarian looked at me weird and all)
anyway, just wanted to know if anyone else has the disc do they hear clipping during "boulevard of broken dreams" and "time of your life" (and some other songs i forget)? it drives me nuts, and google hasn't provided any answers, either, which is why i posted here.
