Built my PC! But I have some Qs regarding stuff . . .

Yep, using onboard sound from the motherboard. Not too bad for stock quality, but the volume is just way too low. There is also a jack on the case itself, but I didn't hook it up. Gonna try that. Oh, I use both the system device and utility to change sound, both maxxed.

Seems like a great drive!

You mean the nec?

I chose the benq due to reviews, doesn't really matter, I don't think I'd notice the difference. Anything's better than my old stock burner. (on my p3, took 20-30min to burn a cd-r, on the same system the benq does it in 7 minutes!)

Okay i'm pissed. You guys know that drive I mentioned before that wasn't working with the pc, the benq? Yeah . . . I put it back into the old system, and it worked fine. Ejected and closed normally, and burned a disc too. Returned it to the new system, and it f**ks up again like before. Won't auto eject/close. Just a popping noise, like the tray is trying to come out, but not. Even upgraded the firmware. I don't get this . . .
