For starters, I want something small. Probably going to pair it with a tiny monitor as well, but that's beside the point.
The last time I built a PC I waited until the first i7s hit the market and bought one on day one. It's been awhile and I'm needing to know what I've missed out on. Looking to pack it all into something like this...

I need it powerful enough for gaming, but there's no need to overdo it. Probably stick in a small 128gb SSD, no disc drive and just run it nice and simple. Won't be used for music at all.
Help me build it, Head-fi.
Thinkin' like...i5, 8gb RAM, no idea on video cards yet, and no idea on MOBOs as I've never done something this small. Modular PSU, obviously.
