I'm curious to see how many forego the often better sound of full size 'phones* in favor of the convenience of 'buds when on the go, so vote away!

*Ok, all the Ety users can sit down again. I said *often better*.

I use my KSC-35 mostly......not earbud OR full-sizer.

But I voted "earbud" as I also use earbuds, tho the KSC-35 SOUNDS more like a cheap full-sizer (maybe cuz...it is?!

Koss cheapies for mobile/active travel. Etymotics for passenger travel.

Never a real "full-size"...the only full-size small enough for me would be low-end Grados. My modified MS-1 look damn cool...unfortunately has a big fat plug, wish I got the miniplug, or a thinner cable for that matter.

I use "both"
It all depends on the situation. When I want portability I'd take my 888s. If I want more comfort and isolation I'd go with some closed circumaural cans. It is decide on the day-to-day basis.

Depends. I prefer full-sizers, but if I'm guaranteed to not be moving around, I'll go for my Etys.

Exactly my prefs.

KSC-35 for any kind of "active" portable.

Etys for "stationary" portable (planes, tranes, etc.)

Both are easily the best sounding (and most comfortable and stable in the case of the KSC-35) in their class.

On the go: Sony E484, E888, and E472.
At home: Senn 580, and Grado sr-80.
