I currently own ER-4Ps for portable and ATH-A900ltd for home. They are both great but there are times when I am out and I want others to listen to what I am listening too. I need a cheap, durable and hygenic pair buds that I can use with friends.

Koss KSC-75. I'd take it over any earbud. I suspect it's more hygienic to share, as well.

Well the standard earbuds around here are the Sony e888, the Audio Technica ath-cm7ti, and maybe the Sennheiser MX 500 or 550.
