Wow its been a while LOL.

My wife just got a job in town and will be commuting on the train so she will have her shuffle in tow.
Today we were at a FYE and I found an iRiver M10 20GB player for 99 bucks so I got it. Just need something for school before class. Well anyway the sales guy said that hes selling skullcandy buds for 9.99.

Are these any better than the cheap mac ones? I know that the review on the skullcandy phones are over bassed but not sure about the buds.

If not these are there any other cheap alternatives? We have tried the sennheisers and they do not work for either of us. I use a pair of Eggos but the wife wants something small for the train.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you're dead set on a bud, you might want to try the YUIN PK1. Read through the Official NYC Meet Nov4 Impressions! thread for some impressions. Not sure if they're available yet or where to get them.
