I just got my BX5a Deluxes and absolutely love them, but I do notice that the base has a dramatic falloff in the deep range, so I'm now looking for a sub to pair with them. Obviously the M-Audio SBX10 is ideal, but damn is it expensive (3x what I paid for the speakers.) Is there any decently musical sub for sub-$200? I know these get recommended a lot

But I can't imagine they're very good I don't need a subwoofer to rattle a house off it's foundation, but I would like decent accuracy. Is the $350+ range really wear you have to go to get a sub of equal quality to the BX5as?

I have a similar question as RynoWeiss. My set up is: a Schiit Modi (love that thing!) running into my Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer. I have M Audio BX5 D2 monitors hooked in as my mains. I am looking for a sub that will be comparable in quality to my BX5's. Obviously I am planning on running the sub through the mixer. Any suggestions?

From my initial looking around I have seen these mentioned:

Polk PSW505

Thanks!
