Hi!

I'm about to do a soundcard-upgrade.
I already have a Creative Audigy in my PC (yeah, I know)... I've tried recording with it, but it's very weak on the bass side, yet I play 6-string bass...
(Little side-question: I'm wondering whether I can put a second soundcard in for recording/tracking/monitoring, and keep the Audigy for gaming/simple listening. Does anyone have multiple soundcards in a PC? How well does it work, are there hardware or software conflicts?)

Now, the main question:

I'm looking at the following soundcards:
E-mu 0404
M-audio Audiophile 2496
Terratec Phase 22
Terratec EWX 2496 (discontinued)

All of them are around the same price. They also have similar specs.
Can anyone give me some hands-on info about how easy - or difficult - it is to set them up and use them, and how good are the supplied software for basic audio work (recording, editing, taracking, mixing, etc)? Terratec has some nice bundles (FruityLoops, Steinberg WaveLab Lite, and more for EWX).

Thanks in advance!
