Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I have searched and couldn't find the answer.
It seems the spec of the Quail power cable is very close to the Volex power cables I found here. http://www.carlton-bates.com/11th_Edition/528.pdf
Other than the noise-rejecting-ring, they seems very much the same.
The Quail is about $13 each and harder to get. (so we have all these group buys.) The Volex is around 5 ~ 7 each, and you can buy them online.
Is the Quail cable much better than the Volex cable?
