Which open cans do you guys consider the best under $60? They will be used mostly for movies, so I want decent bass. Also need to be comfortable, with lots of ear space and depth. I'm thinking of:

1) Pioneer SE-A1000

2) Panasonic HTF-890

Any others? Thanks.

I briefly listened the Panasonic 890, but they are not of my liking. Anemic bass with piercing highs.

Are you open to other options?

Yes I am. I already ruled out the Panasonic HTF600(cups too shallow) and the Superlux 681EVO(creaking headband), JVC RX700 and RX900. To give you some idea, I love my Koss KSC75.

I'd prefer an open can, and that's semi-open, correct? Is there much difference between open and semi-open? DO you own the SR850?

My cousin who is into games and such things have a pair. Soundstage it's very spacious and it doesn't lack bass.

Semi-open are partially closed headphones. They still leak a good amount of sound.
