I'm looking at budget IEM's that also have mics. I had the MEElectronics M16P and one annoyance was that the eartips kept falling off, but I'm pretty sure that's somewhat specific to the model/style because it has an elongated shape. Here's my preferences:
+ isolation (I don't want to hear outside noises for the most part)
+ comfort (I realize this is mostly dependent on the tip)
+ value (Quality for price)
+ durability / L-plug (Don't want it to fray at the plug! L-plug not mandatory; Just needs to be durable)
- microphonics (If it's negligible when worn over-ear, that's fine; If it's negligible any way you wear it, that's great)
- bass heavy (I like a more balanced sound)
Here are the one's I'm considering (in price order):
MEElectronics M161P
EtyKids
Brainwavz M4
Klipsch S4A
SoundMagic E10M
Brainwavz M5
MEElectronics M9P/M31P (These are honestly from a different price-point.)
Which fits my preferences most? You can either comment with details or just vote.
Thanks for the recommendations/info. Let me know if I can help you help me, somehow.
