Hi, I am looking for a budget (sub-$120ish) headphone amp, that doesn't have to be portable, to synergize with a MoodLab Concept that I will probably buy soon and MDR-V6s... I will probably upgrade to some slightly better sounding headphones sometime. I listen to variety of music from Norah Jones to Bloc Party to Paul van Dyk.

What are your guys' recommendations to get me started? Would it be wiser to just buy a DAC + HeadAmp unit like the Musiland and save the money?

Save up your money for good headphones; the V6 doesn't change much with amping.

I don't know what impedance the MDR-V6 is, but the Samson S·Amp is a very good low budget amp. Has nice specs.
