hello
i broke my hyperx cloud 2 so i ve been looking around for a new pair, watching videos, reading guides etc.
My main focus is gaming ive always used gaming headsets in the past so i wanna try headphone this time.
My options are shp9500, audio technica m40x/ad500x,Superlux hd681evob/w and hd669.These are the headphones i found available in my area.
Which one should i go for?

Do you prefer open or closed headphones.

HD681 EVO are a little tight on the head.

i have no experience with open back headphones so i cant really tell which one i do prefer
I usually prefer open headphones, unless I need to block noise.
HD681 EVO are a good value.

thanks alot,do you have any other recommendation? i live in pretty silent place and i wont use headphones outside i am gonna sit and game so i can go with open design.
I guess my preference would be for Sennheiser HD558/HD559/HD598.
They do not blast audio into your ears, so they are headphones that you can use for long periods of time (slightly veiled sound).
If you prefer a more fiesta sound, Soundmagic HP200.
Do you have a budget?

You might find a good deal on used, HD558 or HD559, on eBay.

Another option if available is Sennheiser Game One which by all accounts (there may some difference) are HD598 with a mic, and controls on the side of the phones. The mic is better than on the Hyperx cloud.

I dont want to give bad advice (really talking about headphones you have no exp with and repeating what others say, in the first place, is a bit sketch), here is a good read on the Game Ones and 558/598:

Reason I am chiming in in the first place is because I am on a similar journey.
i found a good deal for 559 i dont really wanna pay alot for game one or 598 but i am going to check some reviews.

one last question (i guess) Philips SHP9500 or Sennheiser HD559. i heard pretty good stuff for SHP9500 but I couldn't find much about 559.
If your more into bass, then get the SHP9500.
I myself prefer the HD558/HD559 sound.
