Hello Head-fiers,
I am the owner of a pair of Sennheiser HD438's. While these are superb headphones, I would like to find some budget headphones for DJ-ing. I am looking for the following qualities:
1.) Pricing: Up to $35
2.) Durability: Needs to handle everyday use, grabbing it from room to room
3.) Sound: Preferably leaning towards the bassy side, but also clarity in the highs
4.) Sound Isolation/Leakage: Preferably medium to good passive sound isolation (closed, not open, design), with preferably close to no sound leakage on higher volumes
5.) Reversible and swivel earcups, along with the ability to be "folded-up" (like Audio Technica M50s)
6.) Fit: Preferably around the ear like most of the Sennheisers
7.) 3.5mm (one-eighth inch) plug
If anyone knows of headphones like these, please post. Thanks!
