Open phones and IEMs are really practical, so I'm after a budget pair of Canals for the office. Keep my SR80s and Super.Fi 5 Pros at home.

They'll be used more for entertainment that serious listening.

EP-630s apparently available on Amazon for £8.99, CX300 for £11.99. Against this price and SQ, anything else worth considering?

Cheers

Well if he was willing to spend almost 70 US (price of the mylarones?) it opens up a lot more options.

Have you tried the kramer mod on the Marshmellows? If you plan to ditch them anyway, might as well try them out.

They dont isolate much at all, although the sound quality is more balanced than the creative or cx300. If you want decent isolation too, you can't got wrong with the cx300, I liked their overall sound better than the creatives.
