I like brown rice more too. Not that white is bad, but I usually eat brown.

Now there's a subject we could talk about! Have you seen that one Google video where a guy lights a candle from a fart into a lighter? BEST. VID. EVAR.

I vote for brown - I actually like the taste - eat it all the time with Chinese food.

White tastes OK - eat it a lot with Indian food. But I prefer brown.

To join all the posts together,
  1. Does brown rice make you fart more than white rice?
  2. What color is the fart flame with brown rice?
  3. What color is the fart flame with white rice?
  4. Does brown rice make you more stupid than white rice?

I prefer white rice over brown but brown is healthier for you

If I want to eat a healthy grain I go for quinoa (rinse befor cookin or it will be bitter)

For Japanese rice I prefer the Nishiki brand

I also love aged Basmati rice like what they serve in Indian restaurants

I love white rice, but I can't have anything on it... it must be clean for me to enjoy it.

Brown rice... I can't even touch the stuff, I just hate how it tastes. Ugh.. and don't even get me started on that repulsive after-taste from brown rice.

There are certain dishes for which brown rice is inappropriate, such as meat gravies (standard American fare), and accompaniment for Cajun gumbo. But brown rice has its own uses, it's good buttered with vegetables, and for some soups.
