Hi Paul. I've got a FiiO M11 Pro and FH7's. Would these IEM's be an upgrade?

Depends on what you want. The S8 has more at the low end, and because of that sounds a little fuller. Vocals are a bit more distant than the FH7 - but I kind of like it when vocals are less in your face. For me the S8 fit a little better and definitely isolated better. For me personally - I'd prefer the S8, but its a close thing. Its not an upgrade - just a different flavour. You'd need to spend quite a bit of money to get a definite upgrade over S8 or FH7 IMO. And thats where diminishing returns kick in.

Thanks Paul. I have just got the 4.4mm "D" spec cable, so perhaps best stick with the FH7. Any plans for a review of the Pro or FH7?

Been meaning to do the FH7 for a while now. But have also been working 60-70 hour weeks for last 2 months. Time is my biggest problem at the moment

I certainly hope so. We do know that he was not very happy with the way he was treated here.
