Hey guys, I moved back from my dorm recently, and one of the tips of my tubes broke on my MH. Can I still use it, or do I need to purchase a new one? I've attached a picture of the broken tube.

well i know nothing about tubes but i know a little about their workings. If the vacuum is still present than it should work ok, but if you can see a whole then the absence of a vacuum will prevent it from working.

the white getter means a dead tube.

toss it in the trash bin before someone tries to use it.

aww poo... Luckily I have a set of 12AE6As I can use for now .

As nikongod said, it's toast. The white getter means the seal was broken and the vacuum is gone.
