So my two & a half year old UE-11 just gave out on me. I think one of
the armatures has died. I'm getting no high frequency at all from the
left monitor.

Does anybody know what the course of action is for getting it
repaired/replaced & how much it will cost?
I've had some truly awful customer service from UE since I got these
so I thought I'd ask here rather than shooting UE an email (I'm UK
based so don't fancy phoning either).

Any help appreciated.

P.S. I tried searching for similiar threads but bloody hell is that
search function poor! Whatever you search for it just gives you the
exact same threads!

Oh man, that sucks. That's why I won't buy a UE custom while they're still a part of Logitech unfortunately.
I agree, the new search function is a steaming pile. It's a shame, the rest of the new layout is so nice.

I guess the JH-13 is an option, but perhaps Unique Melody has the capability of replacing the drivers. I know its a long shot, but it's worth asking them.

But yeah, that really sucks.

Do you happen to know which driver? You might be able to go and buy them and then get them remolded?

Thanks for the replies guys. You've got me looking at JH customs (Which I definitely can't afford!).

I've sent a mail over to the guys at UE & hopefully they can do a repair job but who knows how much it will cost, If I have to buy a whole new monitor I may have to just get a pair of universals until I can afford to get a new pair of customs.

Whats some good universals that I'd be happy with after customs?

So, I got a reply back from David Gutierrez over at whats now Logitech & he says that if it is a driver it will be replaced with a brand new one for $105. I'm not sure if thats the cost for just the part & labour will be charged seperatley at $9700 a minute but so far it seems like I should be alright.

Thanks for your help & suggestions guys. I'll update the thread as I know more.

Glad to hear they aren't just leaving you to deal with it on your own. Good luck!
