Is it normal for TsuranagiV2 to have very low volume until like 1-2 o'clock position?
Most of my IEMs, even sensitive ones, need to be at around 1-3 o'clock position to be semi-loud.
Thank you.

My tsu OE and the tsu silver concept is like this as well. I'm not sure why they did not design it to start at 8 o'clock or 10. 1 seems extreme

The appropriate volume position will also change depending on the sensitivity of your earphones, but that is probably normal.

TSURANAGI is designed to be used in areas where there is little volume attenuation, so it does not have any unnecessary gain.

I thought OE was V3? Or is it technically a V2 variant?

My understanding is that it is a better comparison to silver concept (same specs but orochi vs shiro). Silver concept and OE supposedly have different hardware inside than the v2, but I don't know the details.

Headphone Re-cable "BSHP for M1" for SONY MDR-M1 Headphones

This re-cable is specially tuned by the Brise Audio team to bring out the best characteristics of the MDR-M1.
※The MDR-M1 is a product by SONY. You can view the product page here (Not released in Japan).

・Built with a 4-core structure based on AKAGANE35 (same grade as YATONO), it employs proprietary High quality sound processing tailored to highlight the M1’s sonic traits.

・We design the appropriate materials, High quality sound processing methods, and placement using a variety of materials, including CNT*1, BS Sheet*2, and other new materials.

・The headphone-side plug adopts a custom screw system for secure attachment to the MDR-M1.

・On the player side, you can choose from Brise Audio original plugs: 4.4mm, 2.5mm, 3-pole 3.5mm, or 4-pole 3.5mm (also compatible with GND-separated connections).
Compatible with balanced, unbalanced, and ground-separated connections.

*1 To take full advantage of the outstanding properties of CNT, we conducted joint testing and comparative listening sessions with a national research institute and a partner material manufacturer to develop the optimal material. Representative features of CNT include: 20 times the strength of steel, 10 times the thermal conductivity of copper, and half the density of aluminum. Excellent shielding capabilities and other beneficial physical properties. (CNT properties vary depending on single-wall or multi-wall structures.)

*2 BS Sheet is a material that enhances the positive sonic effects of other materials while introducing extremely minimal negative impact on sound quality.

Basically, there are no sources that it is not good at, and it is good at sources with a large dynamic range, such as orchestras.

However, it has the characteristic of having high requirements for equipment, and on systems with low resolution, the sound is spoiled and cannot demonstrate its true value.

Are there measurements for stock cable vs brise cable? I’d like to know what value $275 cable adds. :) since you said it brings out the best, it should be audible? Therefore measurable? Right. People use these for professional work after all.
If it’s just cosmetics, let be it.
