I am planning to make an mini-to-mini IC and am looking for some DIY Cables to open up the treble end of my SR-001 MkII. I heard the Canare Starquads are more bassy. I need some suggestions for a brighter cable. Preferably lower than $1/foot and something that is in stock at Westlake-electronic.com because they have the cheapest shipping to Canada.

I also have some side questions regarding to making a mini-to-mini IC. Is the Canare F-11 the same as F-12 in regards to the diameter of cable it accepts? What size of heatshrink do I need to go over the cable and over the connector? What size of heatshrink should I use if I want to cover a split starquad (2 wires)? Do I use a 1/4" techflex to cover the starquad? What about techflex for a split starquad (2 wires)?
