I'm still using the stock cable from Lynx with an XLR-RCA converter into the X-Can V3. I want something better now.

I think I need:

*Regular or goldplated female DB25 (any difference?)
*What is a good (best?) short cable? Should it be shilelded? How thick? Just a few inches long I suppose.
*4 good RCA connectors (2 female for audio in and 2 male for audio out)

***That's for the breakout cable***

Then I need a as good as possible cable between this breakout and the X-Can (it takes two male rca in) about 1 meter long.

Where do I buy all these parts? And recommendations? Nothing silly now, not any US$1000 cables or stuff.

That doesn't work here.

The DB25 connector I used is from Supra and gold-plated. Any gold-plated DB25 connector should have similar sound quality, but do try to avoid those tin or nickel-plated kinds.

I used Vampire wire continuous-cast magnet wire in quad-braid configuration for the wiring and also Vampire OFC female RCA jacks, which are the best bang-for-buck-and-sound female RCA jacks. Any good-quality wire or female RCA connectors should work fine, though, along the lines of VH Audio Pulsar wire, sold by the foot. Also WBT nextgen female RCA's would work nicely, though $$$

Now I just need to order some parts and have my brother fix the whole thing for me... I know I should be able to do it my self but if someone with more experience does it I feel more comfort.
