Can anyone tell me what the break in period for the Sennheiser HD-495's is? Thanks...and dont squeeze a weasel over a pot of grease.....

I don't think that break-in will make a big difference with those phones. They should sound pretty good out of the box and anychanges after would be small.

h@x!, why would you want to stomp on the phones? They aren't streetstyles.

thats what I thought too...ive already done all the stompibng and bludgoning I could. They sound much better now...almost like a trumpet with a coffee can on the front of it..played by Woody Allen with a cold....Actually they sound quite nice...by far better than anything ive ever owned before (plaastic folding sonys with dead weasels as drivers).
