Hey guys. Just joined and just purchased aforementioned PL30s as per this forum! They're in the mail. I don't have access to fancy source devices, just my laptop with a meh to decent on board soundcard. What kinda music and for how long should I drive these bad boys to break em in? I'll most likely plug em in, put em in the case and just let em rip for how as long as its needed, going about my day otherwise.

It doesn't really matter, just plug them into your computer, mp3 player, or whatever you want and put your library on shuffle.  Volumes should just be at normal listening volumes.  You really don't need to break them in though, it's not really crucial for these headphones.  Personally I just use my headphones normally and hope that the increase in sound quality keeps me from wanting to upgrade too fast.

There are some people who prefer to use white noise for burn in... reason is that the noise will stimulate all frequencies evenly:
