Why would someone want a V6 rather than a 7506? They're the same headphone -- do you really want the 'consumer model' when you can get the 'pro model' (no differences, but it's the mental thing...).

The reason why I posted this is because I have been beaten over the head with "...the V6 are no longer available in the U.S...." and "...you have to buy imports..."

Well, I think it is my fault (although I hope I did not "beat anyone over the head" -- heaven forbid!)

In another thread, I made statements similar to this. And I have been repeatedly informed by Sony dealers that this is the case, and even shown order sheets showing this. Also, the V6 is not listed at Sony Electronics US web site. But, it does seem that a number of US merchants do carry it, so something about the information I was told appears to not be correct.

No doubt...I keep hearing them refered to....but have yet to ever see a store in Wisconsin or Illinois.
