Hey everyone recommended this thread from z review sub. So I have on the way jds ol dac and atom for my stack. My question really is what solution would I use it I wanted to use these on my phone on the go? I'm under the impression these don't should well without power. I got them for gaming because of the soundstage and imagining ( from what I read still haven't received mine yet), but if I wanted to use it at work on the go, is there a solution or product type I can be pointed towards

Do you mean like listening while traveling on a train or bus.
Or you will plug it into a wall socket when you get to your destination?
What is the make and model of your smartphone and headphones?

Well I was on the go like maybe my car so I do have an invertor. Is it even possible to do without a wall plug. I have akg k712 pro and my phone is one plus 7 pro

A FiiO A5 headphone amplifier will daisychain of your phone.
My suggestion is to buy headphones that work well off portable devices, low impedance (Ohm) headphones.
Me, I like my Audio Technica ATH-ESW9, for portable use, no need for the FiiO A5.
