Thanks for the update on the Breakout Box.  Does the sound quality change any with the addition of the breakout box?  I have a breakout box on backorder, so I am a little curious if there is much of a difference between the breakout cable and breakout box sonically.

P.S.  I finally narrowed down the issues I noted in another thread having to a ground loop which I was able to fix, and to very low level whining noise that goes away after a couple of seconds of playback after a sample change is still there, but is not bothersome, and really doesn't have an effect on the overall sound after it goes away.  I have gotten the Duet 2 to reliably work with the unbalanced and balanced cables I have however... and I have to agree that it is a very excellent sounding unit.
