Hey guys,

I just wanted to share with you some pictures of the mod that "arteria", user of the CHW Chilean community, performed to his Brainwavz M4 in order to correct the annoying driver flex problem. It basically consists of drilling a small vent-hole in the earphones housings, just like the ones its siblings (M1/M2/M3) come with from factory.

M1 housing v/s M4 'hole-less' housing:

OK. First, we open the phones:

Here we can see the driver.

Now we take the upper part of the housing and proceed to drill the hole on it:

Finally, we glue a small foam filter to the recently drilled hole.

According to "arteria", after modding the phones the driver flex problem is non-existant, at the expense of losing some bass quantity (which was expected).

Now, I don't know whether it's worth the trouble (probably most of you would rather go and get new phones instead), but at least there is a way to fix this annoying issue.
