has anyone heard about these speakers?

These are supposedly to be one of the best set of 5.1 speakers out there.

I have the 805 nautilus, and I auditioned the CM series as well. Both in two channel however. They are very good speakers. They are not up to the level of the nautilus series (of course...same company), but they crank out great sound and are not that expensive. The store I auditioned them from had them set up in a home theater system and they sounded really good. You might also want to consider the new 700 series that B&W just came out with. At the moment (until they upgrade the 800 series, which they will have to do) they are the best value in B&W's lineup.
