I have a balanced cable for the Slants and hopefully for the PMx2. I don't have a balanced DAC, though... Maybe somebody else will.

I have a gumby (but no XLR interconnects) if you want to try out a fully balanced setup.

I'm really interested in the HD650/Valhalla 2 combo.  I tried my HD700s on a Vali 2 this weekend and I was really impressed. It really mellowed out the highs of the 700s. It would be great to try the 700s on the Valhalla as well.

That would be great.  After a lot of research I ended up picking up picking up the HD600 off of Amazon.  Right now they are $250 if you factor in the gift card.   I'm sure that would pair really well with the Valhalla.
