I'm curious if anyone is familiar with these bookshelf speakers. My dad had a pair in the closet so I hooked them up until I plan on upgrading to a 5.1 setup. I'm curious how much better/worse my setup would sound if I bought another pair of Boston HD7, with a sub, and center speaker to make my own 5.1 setup.

I was looking at 5.1 speakers in the >$150 price range, if that offers a point of reference.

You dun have to match speakers example: u nab a nice pair of floor standers for the fronts and those Bostons could be assigned surround/rear channel duty? Timbre matching L-R-C means those channels good idea to go with the same brand/make but not surrounds/rear
