I recently frayed the one end of my Bose TP1's, and am wondering if there is a way to fix the cable.

The headphones work perfectly fine other than the break  in the  right cable, so I'd like to try and repair them myself, because they aren't worth a repair service.

I am completely new to cable repair...

Thank you!

Chop it off at the damaged section and solder on a new plug of your choice.

Must be some sort of guide or instructions here or elsewhere.

Have a  gander around.

So...

I cut off both ends completely to resolder a new neutrik plug on, but the wires are so thin, I can barley thread them through the connectors. And there are 1 or 2 stray wires here and there.

I feel as though this is much more complicated than the task actually is. After attempting for a half hour to connect the new plug, I've about had it.

Thanks for the responses on offering to fix them. Trust me, if these were higher end, I would not even attempt it, but I don't have much to lose on these.

Thank you!
