Also, if sound true, over ear or under ear?
 
I know there are better options, but these are the only headphones that I can get with my points.

I've only heard the Bose. The Bose is over-ear while the Beats is on-ear. (I've never heard of under-ear. How would that work? lol) Beats are generally derided around here, though I can't say which sounds better to me, since, again, I haven't heard both.

I picked up the solo2 after reading that review.  I don't regret it at all.
