I know a lot has been said about these three headphones, but I need and advice more specific to my needs. In this moment, I own a Klipsch Reference One. They become really uncomfortable after 2 hours of use and its sound has nothing especial on it.
My needs and tastes are these:
  1. I spend around 3 hours a day commuting, always listening to music. So I need good isolation (at least better than with the Klipsch's).
  2. I listen to music around the campus and in the library probably 3 hours a day, so I need something comfortable to use.
  3. What I listen to: Folk, Jazz, Indie, Rock, Metal, Salsa (Latin) and the usual Top 40 songs.
  4. My budget is around $300.
  5. In terms of sound quality, I want a critical improve over my Klipsch.

English is not my first language, so sorry for the bad writing.

You can rule out the anc7b. They leak sound badly so they wouldn't work out in the library. They aren't comfortable either. The QC15 is very comfortable but if you like enhanced bass they might not be for you. Sorry, I have no experience with the M-50.
