Can someone pls tell me whats they frequency range of the Bose In Ear Headphones. I've been on their website and sadly cant seem to find it, their specs are totally pathetic if you ask me.

They don't post their stats so we can only speculate, but it's obvious it's going to have some sort of giant smiley face curve, or at least a crazy spike in the bass range and a dip in the midrange.

So whats your verdict worth getting or not, I've seen them going on Ebay for half price virtually probably even cheaper, or can you reccomend me something better for say around $40 to $60

They're not horribly bad matched with weaker bass feedback DAP's like the Ipod, and are pretty comfortable, but it won't give you any kind of isolation at all and as we discussed has uneven balance so it's definitely not for everybody. If you like Bass, want comfort, no isolation and can get it for around $50-60, then it wouldn't be a bad choice. If you consider getting one from ebay as you mentioned btw, make sure they aren't fakes (although, from some stories, the fakes actually sound more balanced than the actual ones! lol)

As for others, it largely depends on your music preferences. Do you like balanced sound, or treble/basshead? Just as a general guideline, here's what's usually recommended in your price range:

IEM's: Nuforce NE7, Head-Direct RE2, UE metro. fi's, JVC Marshmallow, Creative EP630
Clip-ons: Koss KSC75
Buds: Yuin PK3/2
Headband/fullsize: Sennheiser PX100, Koss Portapro, iGrado

x2 all ^ reccomendations. Unfortunately, Bose is quite secretive about their specs, as they dont view them as being relevant, which is code for 'they dont want people actually comparing their products to competitors.' I tried a couple pairs of their iem's, as I didnt want complete isolation and, while they can be comfortable at first, the shape of the silicone started to hurt the inside of my ears, a problem I've never really had with iem's or most earbuds for that matter. A much better choice for me in terms of good sound quality, while at the same time beting to hear what was going on around me (little to no isolation) was the Sony EX85's. They were cheaper, much more comfortable, had comparable bass impact and better treble & clarity. Maybe try those as well.

Thanks for that. Basically what I'm looking for is something that can give me good bass but not overly powerfull where the music is drowned out, or the bass sound too mushy, on the other note I like Treble as well but again not over powering. Basically put it I like a touch of Treble over Bass.

I will using a pair of In Ears with any of my MP3 players this means either a Zen Touch, Zen Vision M, Zen Xtra or Cowon iAudio 6, sorry I dont own or touch Ipod and thats just me.

Also looking at the other following:

AKG K324P
Creative EP830

I found them to be TOO BASSY and quite low on the highs. I'm a House head so that should say a lot, lol! Very comfortable but hardly much isolation. I preferred a pair of Sony IEMs over them.
