So, I'm looking for a good alternative to the Bose Companion 3's. I'm looking for something very small/compact and haven't found many viable alternatives.

Any ideas?

Google Orb Audio, their speakers are orb like and are very small. They have good reviews over at avs forum.

Check out swan speakers. Maybe something like the M10? Similar form factor and highly regarded.

I considered this, but I don't know how well they would do without a sub and then I also need an amp. Just ends up being too expensive.

The M10 is a little weird in that the 'sub' kinda needs to be paced on the desktop.

The SW3 looks interesting though, along with the S400.

Also... if I could find the Acoustic Energy Aego M, I think it would work well. Seems to be impossible to find now, though.

So, I'm still looking for a readily available alternative.

I really like the Aego M but I haven't seen it anywhere.
