Sound quality aside, these really come in handy when I'm video editing and there's construction going on outside. However I had to rearrange my computer set up and now the headphone jack is too far away for me to plug directly into. I tried using a few different extension cables and non of them worked. The sound coming out of the headphones sounds very very low with no bass at all. Like it's coming from a really crappy landline. This happens both on my PC and Mac.

I even tried plugging them directly into my M-Track 2x2 and the same problem occurs. Oddly enough they work fine with bluetooth receivers.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone might know why. Would something like a FiiO preamp help?
