Is there anyone (preferrably in the NY/NJ area) with a pair of CD3000s that he isn't using heavily at the time? They're at the top of my list for new headphones which I don't need. I'd love to hear what they sound like without actually buying them yet (wouldn't we all?).
I don't have much in the way of equipment that I could loan in exchange, just a d-25s, a d-465, a panasonic pcdp, an ns500v (to be returned to CC by the 20th), meta42, a pair of 7506s, and a pair of 770s. Of course, it would be helpful to keep this stuff so I could attempt to compare them for my own edification. But, I won't assume that someone will just lend me a pair out of the goodness of his heart. Money or other collateral could be given for the period of the lending.
I'd like to listen to them for a week, if possible.
