just wondering if anyone has bothered with the "boostaroo"?

from what i have read on their site (http://www.boostaroo.com/), it does not seem to be a serious headphone amp, but the advertised function is inline with what we are all talking about.

it would be interesting to take one apart to see what its made of, type of chip/circuit used, etc. has anyone done this before?

just wondering.

You are right, it isn't a serious amp... in fact it isn't a very good amp either. I don't even think it is worth the effort to even open since a lot of DIYers here can already easily create a circuit in 5 minutes that would be better than the boostaroo.

I'd be happy to rip mine open.. It'd be alot more useful in pieces than put together IMO

Unfortunately I left it at home (I'm at school right now), because I knew that I could never find a use for it because the sound was so bad.
