Hello,

I want to buy a book that can teach me about sound and the science behind it.
I'm a student of engineering so I'm not scared from few equations, but maybe something in the style of "Sound for Dummies"

would be nice. (English is not my native language).

also maybe another book about recording and mixing basics.

thanks.

If you're looking for a book on audio, which is storage and reproduction of sound, one of the best is "Mastering Audio, The Art and Science" by Bob Katz.  It's a great book about mastering, but also about audio and sound in general.

No.  I inadvertently posted to this thread and instead of editing the post to have just a period, I ended up adding another post with a dot.

Sorry for the confusion.  I know of no books that would fill your need.
