BMW 1 Series?

isn't the 3 series baby enough?

is this going to be like the Mercedes Kompressor or whatever, trying to capture the young market so they will buy better BMW's when they are richer and older?

Looks nice, like an Audi A3 or Golf. Funny how attractive hatchbacks look when you have to carry a pram around everywhere you go. I wonder how much space is behind the back seat there.

heck with car prices the way they are in Singapore I'd probably buy a 1 series first

From what I hear, it is still very questionable whether a sedan version will come out. The U.S. marketing department is of course really clamoring for one, but in Germany, e.g., sedans are often considered, ugly, impractical, and for older people.

you gotta remember all those pics aren't final. every month, the car mags have new pics of the 1 series that are different from the month before. also, preleminary pricing is pretty high-- in the range of 24k.
