I find myself in a bit of an awkward situation.
 
I just bought a laptop which has a problem with the headphone jack. Sound is pretty much brutal through it. 
 
Works decent through usb to headphone adapter but theres a bit of a humming noise.
 
What i was wondering is if i get bluetooth headphones will it bypass both the usb and headphone socket and give me good sound quality? Is the amp in the headphones or does it still rely on the laptop?
 
portability is a big priority so wireless would be great if it was good quality for me.Also any suggestions on bluetooth headphones cheapish would be appreciated. Thanks

I bought a Meelectronics air-fi 32 for a little over $50 a few weeks back. They have a decent sound in my opinion for the price and for bluetooth. They also work very well with an iPhone. Most Amazon customers rate them pretty highly.
